Agreement to these terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Remend, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Remend Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Remend.
You must be legally able to enter into these terms in the place where you live. If you use Remend on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
App Store license
Remend is licensed, not sold. Unless a custom license is presented with the app, your use of Remend is also governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these terms conflict with Apple’s mandatory terms for an App Store application, Apple’s terms control to the extent of the conflict.
Subject to these terms, Remend grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for its intended purpose on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by Apple’s Usage Rules.
Your account
Sign in with Apple is the account method for Remend. You are responsible for maintaining access to your Apple Account and for activity performed through your Remend account. Information you provide must be accurate and must not impersonate another person.
Contact support@remend.app if you believe your Remend account has been accessed without permission.
Acceptable use
You may use Remend only in compliance with applicable law and these terms. You must not:
- access or attempt to access another person’s account or information;
- interfere with the operation, security, or availability of Remend;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service without written authorization;
- reverse engineer or attempt to derive source code except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- upload malicious code or use Remend for an unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose; or
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Remend without written permission.
Fitness and wellness information
Remend supports fitness consistency and general wellbeing. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. Information shown by Remend, including plans, trends, targets, and suggested actions, is provided for general informational purposes.
Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions that may affect your health, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are taking medication, or experience pain or unusual symptoms. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
Your content and information
You retain your rights in information and images you add to Remend. You give Remend permission to process account information only as necessary to operate the app, keep your account available, provide requested features, protect the service, and comply with law.
How Remend handles account data, images, and Apple Health information is described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for information you export from Remend and for the destination where you choose to save or share it.
Service availability
Remend may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves. Cloud services may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, security work, provider outages, or circumstances outside Remend’s reasonable control.
Remend may use third-party services, including Apple and Supabase, to provide account and hosting functions. Their services are governed by their own terms. Remend is not responsible for third-party services that it does not control.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Remend is provided “as is” and “as available.” Remend does not promise that the app or website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every individual fitness or wellness need.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Remend is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, opportunity, or profits arising from your use of or inability to use Remend. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Ending use of Remend
You may stop using Remend at any time. You can delete the cloud account from You → Remend Account → Delete Remend Account and separately erase device-only information from You → Erase All Remend Data.
Remend may suspend or end access if you materially violate these terms, create risk or legal exposure, or use the service in a way that threatens its security or other users. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will remain in effect.
Changes and contact
Remend may update these terms as the service or applicable law changes. If a change is material, the updated effective date will be posted and additional notice will be provided where appropriate. Continuing to use Remend after updated terms take effect means you accept them.
